The dramatic rise in COVID-19 infections across the City of Los Angeles continues with more than 37,000 new cases reported Countywide on Thursday January 6th. During this unprecedented time, it’s more important than ever to protect yourself and others. Here are some resources to help stay educated and empowered as we get through this surge.
Finding Vax & Testing Sites
If you’re experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19, you can get tested for free at locations across LA County. Testing is available on weekdays and weekends. Find a location near you at http://Coronavirus.LACity.org/Testing.
While skyrocketing cases of COVID-19 indicate high community transmission, we do have tools to protect ourselves and each other. Getting vaccinated & boosted reduces your risk of infection, transmission of COVID and serious illness. To find the nearest free vaccination site visit: http://VaccinateLACounty.com
Increase your protection against COVID-19 by upgrading your mask to a KN95, N95 or KF94, especially if you are around a lot of people. Visit http://publichealth.lacounty.gov/acd/ncorona2019/masks/for more info.
Don’t Forget! All students and employees will be required to have proof of a negative COVID-19 test in order to come onto campus on Jan 11, 2022.
